how your Nexus device to work with 3G with low network coverage area?????

One of the most irritating reasons for having Nexus products is that they don’t follow the network you select. Say you’ve received 3G data to make use of and system coverage will be weak, your device will quickly switch returning to EDGE (or no matter what has very good coverage).

Funny thing will be, AOSP provides built-in element to ‘force’ a Android device to use a network (even when coverage will be nil) – but it is kind of hidden. Stay with me.

To gain access to the element, open Phone/Dialer iphone app, type *#*#4636#*#*. Faucet on Telephone information. Scroll lower and you’ll locate a drop lower menu where you can choose concerning different system modes. Pick ‘WCDMA only’.

That’s just about all. Now your current device will follow 3G no matter what network insurance policy coverage.

If you'll need a quicker approach to access your setting, then fully grasp this little iphone app called ‘Network’.
